We are a dynamic young team headed by our Principal, Sarah Hussain, who qualified as a Solicitor in 2006 and has practised law for over 14 years at a number of well-known and respected law firms in the City and West End. Over the years, Sarah has handled a number of high value complex disputes (often with an international element) for high net worth clients and individuals.
Sarah’s experience in working for small to medium sized city-based practices over the years has resulted in her developing a very broad ranging litigation practice including: shareholder and partnership disputes, insolvency and bankruptcy work, consumer disputes, landlord and tenant disputes (including possession claims, dilapidations and service charge disputes) relating to both residential and commercial properties, IP litigation, defamation, general contractual and tortious matters, contentious probate matters and company restorations and strike off applications. Sarah has also developed experience in some very niche areas of law (e.g. she recently advised on a cross-border insolvency application).
Our philosophy is that quality legal services should not only be limited to the city, but should be available and accessible to everyone. Over the years, we have learnt how important it is for clients to feel that they are being listened to, valued and in control of how their case is being handled without being charged disproportionately high rates for good quality legal services.
Our team aims to change longstanding perceptions of law firms by taking a stand. We want to make legal services more black and white (or monochrome) for clients – hence the birth of Mono Law
